Construction Blueprint
It was a project funded by the 2018 Erasmus+ Call of the European Union, under Key Action 2 of the Sector Skills Alliances (Lot 3), aiming to implement a new strategic approach (Blueprint) for sectoral cooperation on skills. The project was built on a Sectoral Skills Strategy from a holistic perspective, considering political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors.
The main objective was to develop a sectoral strategy to better match the skills needs of the construction industry with the training offer. The consortium brought together three European sectoral organisations, nine national sectoral representatives, and twelve Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education providers from twelve EU countries.
Key activities included:

Collecting good practices at national and regional levels, compiled in an Interactive Map.

Designing and piloting training curricula in Energy Efficiency, Circular Economy and Digitalisation, with MOOCs available.

Creating an Observatory to identify specific skill needs at regional/national level.

Updating occupational profiles according to new demands in green and digital skills.

Conducting an outreach campaign to enhance the image of the sector and attract youth and women, while promoting mobility solutions across Europe.

Developing a virtual tool (website) to provide access to all project outcomes and host a Sector Skills Alliance platform for collaboration.
